Cosmos bipinnatus

Annual. Plant height 1 meter. Beautiful fuchsia-red flowers with yellow hearts. Occasional pink flowers. Nectariferous plant much appreciated by pollinators. Extremely floriferous! Blooms from late July to frost.

Full sun, well drained soil. Sow indoors in early May. Transplant or direct sow after any risk of frost. 6mm deep. 30 cm between plants.

Germination: 73% in December 2025
