Tomato Rio Grande
Solanum lycopersicum

Italian-style tomato, dark red, oval, 6 cm in diameter, in bunches of 5 or 6. Firm, thick, not very juicy flesh, excellent for cooking. Very productive, 1.20-meter plant. Determinate. 75 days to maturity.

Full sun, well-drained, rich soil. Sow indoors 8 to 10 weeks before last frost. 5 mm deep. Requires heat for germination, ±30 °C. 60 cm between plants.
