Phaseolus vulgaris

Bush snap bean. Green, round, fleshy pods, 13 to 15 cm, excellent flavor. Plant height 50 to 65 cm. Good choice for freezing and canning. The brown beans, speckled with beige, can be used as dry beans. 1950 AAS winner. 50 days.

Sow in June, after any risk of frost, 2 cm deep and 15 cm apart.

Germination: 98% in December 2025
