Tomatillo Deep Purple
Physalis ixocarpa

Purple tomatillo. Selected by Mme Greta(Greta’s Family Gardens), for a darker fruit inside and out. 4 to 5 cm in diameter. Plant height 90 cm, width 60 cm. Productive. Needs support. Harvest all the fruit, as tomatillo reseeds itself. 90 days to maturity.

Full sun, rich soil. Sow indoors in early April. 6 mm deep. Transplant when there is no longer any risk of frost.

Germination: 80% in November 2025
