Bean Amish Nuttle (Mayflower)
Phaseolus vulgaris
Dry bean. Pole bean, needs a 2 meter stake. Small square grains, beige with red flecks. Excellent fresh shell or dry. Very productive. Heirloom variety of the Amish, Iroquois and Seneca. Also known as Mayflower, Red Nightfall, Cornhill Bean.
Full sun, well drained soil. Direct sowing after the last frost or indoor sowing 10 days before. 2 cm deep. 15 cm between plants.
Germination: 95% in December 2025
