Hot Pepper Balik
Capsicum annuum

Hot pepper. Green turning red at maturity. 8 cm long. Very good stuffed, grilled or marinated. Productive 60 cm tall plant. Need staking. Its strength is similar to that of jalapeno. Native to the Balkans and northwestern Turkey. Balik means ‘fish’ in Turkish.

Full sun, well-drained, rich soil. Sow indoors 10 to 14 weeks before the last frost. 6 mm deep. 40 cm between plants. 65 days to maturity.
