Apricot foxglove
Digitalis purpurea
Biennial. Apricot flowers, gradually turning pale pink. 1 to 1.50 meters high. Makes beautiful cut flowers. Nectariferous plant of interest to bumblebees and butterflies. Re-seeds itself.
Full sun, part shade, well drained and rich soil. Sow indoors mid-April, transplant or direct sow after any risk of frost. Sow on the surface. 30 cm between plants. Hardiness zone 4.
Germination: 85% in November 2023
