Annual. Medicinal and nectariferous plant. Blue flowers. 30 cm to 1 meter high. Also known as bachelor’s button. Edible flowers.

Full sun to part shade. Well drained soil. Tolerates dry conditions. Indoors sowing in early May. Direct sowing or transplanting end of May. 6 mm deep. 40 cm between plants.

Germination: 80% in December 2024
Ecological seeds produced at Catherine’s Ornamental Garden.
