Radish Helios
Raphanus sativus

Round summer radish with a yellow-beige color. Harvest them between 2 and 3 cm in diameter. Very good raw or cooked. Helios is the Greek God of the sun. Heirloom variety originating from Poland.

Full sun to part shade. Well drained and rich soil. Direct sowing from early May to late June. Repeat sowing every 2 weeks to extend harvest. Repeat sowing in September. 1 cm deep and 5 cm apart. 32 days to maturity.

Germination: 89% in November 2025
