Helios Radish
Raphanus sativus

Round summer radish with a yellow-beige color. Harvest them between 2 and 3 cm in diameter. Very good raw or cooked. Helios is the Greek God of the sun. Heirloom variety originating from Poland.

Full sun to part shade. Well drained and rich soil. Direct sowing from early May to late June. Successive sowings every 2 weeks to prolong the harvest. Start sowing again in September. 1 cm deep and 5 cm apart. 32 days to maturity.

Germination: 93% in November 2023
