Diana radish
Raphanus sativus
Delicious purple summer radishes with white tips, round or slightly elongated. Early, it resists cracking well and is slow to bolt. To be harvested between 2 and 4 cm in diameter.
Full sun to part shade. Well drained and rich soil. Direct sowing from early May to late June. Successive sowings every 2 weeks to prolong the harvest. Start sowing again in September. 1 cm deep and 5 cm apart. 30 days to maturity.
Germination: 83% in November 2023
