Squash Hubbard Blue Ballet
Cucurbita maxima

Blue-gray, spinning top-shaped winter squash, 15 to 25 cm in diameter. Dark orange flesh, non-fibrous, excellent flavor. Productive and early. Creeping plant of 2 to 3 meters in length. 95 days to maturity.

Full sun, well-drained, rich soil. Direct sowing after the last frost or indoor sowing 2 to 5 weeks before. Protect young plants from insects. 2 cm deep. 60 cm between plants.

Germination: 99% in December 2025
