Tomato Little Sparrow
Solanum pimpinellifolium

Small red currant tomato, 1.5 cm in diameter. Intense flavor. Perfect for snacking in the garden. Very productive. 1,50 meter high and more. Good resistance to diseases, including tomato leaf mold. Was cultivated in the Chateauguay region of Quebec in the 1950’s. Indeterminate. 65 days to maturity.

Full sun, well drained and rich soil. Sow indoors 6 to 8 weeks before last frost. 5 mm
depth. 60 cm between plants.

Germination: 91% in November 2025

Note
After testing several red currant tomato varieties, Little Sparrow came out on top. It’s the taste of a big tomato in a mini tomato!
