Description

Kale Scarlet
Brassica oleracea acephala

Curly leaves of dark green to purplish red color. The red color intensifies in the fall. 80 cm to 1.20 meter high. Highly resistant to cold. 60 days to maturity.

Full sun, tolerates part shade. Well drained and rich soil. Direct sowing after the last frost, or indoor sowing 4 to 8 weeks before. 6 mm deep. 40 cm between plants.

Germination: 84% in November 2025
