Phaseolus vulgaris

Dark green, round, fleshy pole bean 12 to 16 cm long. Very tasty and early. Requires a 2-metre-high stake. Produces over a long period. Perfect for canning and freezing. AAS 2017 winner. 55 days.

Full sun, well drained soil. Direct sowing after the last frost or indoor sowing 10 days before. 2 cm deep. 15 cm between plants.

Germination: 97% in December 2025
