Description
Alta de Moda bean
Phaseolus vulgaris
Dry bean. Climbing plant. Needs a 2.50 meter support. The large seeds are pinkish-white and turn dark beige when stored. Excellent fresh shell or dry. Also a good snap when harvested young. An old Catalan variety preserved by Joan Roig Gener in Sainte-Luce, Quebec. Many thanks to Louise Proulx who sent us some seeds in the spring of 2023!
