Bean Velour
Phaseolus vulgaris

Bush mauve snap bean. Round, extra-fine, 10 to 12 cm long. Turns green when cooked. Excellent for freezing. Easy to harvest. Plant 50 cm tall. Productive and disease-resistant variety. 60 days to maturity.

Sow directly outdoors in early June at 2 cm depth and 15 cm apart.

Germination: 99% in December 2025
Ecological seeds produced at Catherine’s Ornamental Garden.

J’aime bien la couleur et le goût de ce haricot. Deviens vert lorsqu’on le cuit. Plus mince que les haricots standards mais plus gros que les haricots Amarillo ou Oceanis.
