Superb batavia lettuce. The wavy leaves give it the appearance of a cabbage. Good flavour and crisp texture. Slow to bolt. Heirloom variety originally from England. It’s also known as Webb’s Wonderful.

Full sun, part shade. Well drained soil. Indoor sowing in April or direct sowing from May. Sow in August for a fall harvest. 6 mm deep. 30 cm between plants.
