Wild italian maiden pink
Dianthus deltoides

Perennial. 40 cm tall. Single dark pink flower with a red circle in the center. Fragrant and edible. Blooms abundantly in June. Does not bloom the 1st year.

Full sun, dry, well-drained soil. Sow indoors in April and transplant at the end of May or sow directly from May to July. 2mm deep. 15-20 cm between plants. Edible flower. Hardiness zone 2.

Germination: 70% in November 2024
