Beet Chioggia
Beta vulgaris

Dark pink beet with red flesh striped with white. Sweet and tasty. Does not stain. Early. To harvest small or large. Excellent flavor even when large. Can be kept for a long time in the refrigerator or in a cold room. Variety of Italian heritage. 60-100 days to maturity.

Full sun, well-drained, rich soil. Direct sowing from 3 to 4 weeks before the last frost. Sowing possible until early July (in zone 4). 1 cm deep. 15 cm between plants. Thin out after germination.

Germination: 85% by December 2025
