Ground Cherry Cossack Pineapple
Physalis pruinosa

Round fruits, 1.5 cm in diameter, orange-yellow when very ripe. Excellent flavor. Plant 60 cm high and sometimes over 1 meter wide. 75 days to maturity.

Full sun, well-drained, rich soil. Sow indoors 8 to 14 weeks before last frost. Transplant when temperature is above 10°C. Requires heat for germination, ±30°C. 6 mm deep. 60 cm between plants.

Germination: 94% in December 2025
