Cossack Pineapple ground cherry
Physalis pruinosa

Round fruits, 1.5 cm in diameter, orange-yellow when very ripe. Excellent flavor. Plant 40 cm high and over 60 cm wide. 75 days to maturity.

Sow indoors mid-April. Transplant when there is no longer any risk of frost. 6mm deep. 50 cm between plants. Protect from wind at first, as seedlings and young plants are sensitive to breakage.

Germination: 94% in November 2023
