Description

Little Leaf Cucumber
Cucumis sativus

Excellent quality gherkin for marinades. A variety that does not need pollination (parthenocarpic) adapted to indoor growing. Harvest between 5 and 15 cm in length. Extremely productive. Very good resistance to diseases. 58 days.

One of the few reproducible cultivars that is parthenocarpic: it produces both male and female flowers, but does not require pollination to produce cucumbers, which means it can be grown indoors or outdoors under netting. Note, however, that this is not an easy crop to grow indoors, and you can expect a certain number of female flowers to abort before production begins.

Full sun. Well-drained, rich soil. Direct sowing after the last frost or indoor sowing 2 to 5 weeks before. Protect young plants from insects at the beggining of the season. 1.5 cm deep. 40 cm between plants.

Germination: 99% in November 2024
