Lettuce Eruption
Lactuca sativa

Small, bicolored romaine lettuce in dark red and light green. The inside turns yellow-green with a small pink center. Crunchy and excellent flavour. Slow to bolt. Resistant to many diseases. Variety developed by Enza Zaden, found by Uprising Seeds in the American gene bank.

Full sun, part shade. Well drained soil. Direct sowing from 6 weeks before last frost date. 6 mm deep. 30 cm between plants.

Germination: 84% in December 2025
