Bean Frisian Yellow Forest
Phaseolus vulgaris

Bush dry bean. Plant 50 cm tall. Excellent quality yellow grain. Harvest fresh shell or dry. Very rare. Native to the province of Friesland in the north of the Netherlands. Its name in Frisian is Giele Waldbeantsje. 85 days to maturity.

Full sun, well drained soil. Sow directly outdoors after risk of frost, 2 cm deep and 20 cm apart.

Germination: 99% in December 2024
