Frisian Yellow Forest bean
Phaseolus vulgaris

Dwarf dry bean. Plant 50 cm tall. Excellent quality yellow grain. Harvest as a shell bean or dry. Very rare. Native to the province of Friesland in the north of the Netherlands. Its name in Frisian is Giele Waldbeantsje. 85 days to maturity.

Full sun, well drained soil. Sow directly outdoors after risk of frost, 2 cm deep and 20 cm apart.

Germination: 99% in November 2023
