Charlevoix bean
Phaseolus vulgaris

Dwarf dry bean. Plant height is 50-60 cm. Standard dark red kidney bean. Former commercial variety developed at the University of Michigan in 1963. Very rare. 90 days to maturity.

Full sun, well drained soil. Sow directly outdoors after risk of frost, 2 cm deep and 20 cm apart.

Germination: 99% in November 2023
