Jalapeno Orange Short hot pepper
Capsicum annuum

Small hot pepper, 6 cm long. Green, turning bright orange at maturity. Thick flesh. Heat rating of 5 on the Scoville scale. 30 cm tall plant, very well suited to container gardening and aeroponics. Developed by Atlantic Pepper Seeds, New Brunswick. 85 days to maturity.

Full sun, well-drained, rich soil. Sow indoors 10 to 14 weeks before the last frost. Requires heat for germination, ±30°C. Transplant when temperature is above 10°C. 6 mm deep. 30 cm between plants.
