Jalapeno Jaloro hot pepper
Capsicum annuum

Conical hot pepper, 8 cm long. Pale yellow, turning orange, then red at maturity. Can be eaten at any stage. Heat rating of 5 on Scoville scale. Plant of 60 to 90 cm height. Suitable for container gardening and aeroponics. Very productive. Variety created in 1992 in Texas, USA. 65 days to maturity (yellow), 90 days (red)

Full sun, well drained and rich soil. Sow indoors 8 to 12 weeks before the last frost. 6 mm deep. 40 cm between plants.

Germination: 95% in November 2023
