Jalapeno Orange Short hot pepper
Capsicum annuum

Small hot pepper, 6 cm long. Green, turning bright orange at maturity. Thick flesh. Heat rating of 5 on Scoville scale. 30 cm tall plant, very well suited to container gardening and aeroponics. Developed by Atlantic Pepper Seeds, New Brunswick. 85 days to maturity.

Full sun, well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Sow indoors in early March. Transplant after any risk of frost. 6 mm deep. 30 cm between plants.

Germination: 92% in November 2023
