Note
A variety I found in 2016 at Baumaux in France. It inherited the good taste and productivity of Contender. But what I particularly like about Castandel beans is that the plants have a more upright and less messy vegetation, which makes harvesting easier and quicker. The beans are upright and quite firm, and contain less water, making them even better for freezing.
