Waltham Butternut squash
Cucurbita moshata

Beige pear-shaped butternut squash. 8 to 14 cm in diameter by 15 to 30 cm in length. Non-fibrous orange flesh with excellent taste. Very good winter storage. 90 days to maturity.

Direct sow early June or sow indoors mid-May, transplant after any risk of frost. 2 cm deep. 60 cm between plants.

Germination: 97% in November 2024
