Note
We first grew the Kuroda carrot in 2020. We really liked it and have been hoping to put it into production ever since. Its deep orange color with occasional red highlights makes it look very appetizing. It’s like an improved Chantenay, juicier and tastier.

It goes by many names: New Kuroda, Kuroda Nova, Shin Kuroda(Shin means “new” in Japanese), Chantenay Kuroda, Hon Kuroda, Kuroda Long, Kuroda Improved, Kuroda orange…
